How many trips make a travel pass worthwhile?
Count the trips you will actually take before the pass expires. One extra ride can change the answer.
Count journeys, not days
Imagine a €24 unlimited pass valid for 30 days and a €1.80 single fare. Thirteen singles cost €23.40. Fourteen cost €25.20, so the pass saves €1.20. Count an outward and a return journey separately if each needs its own ticket.
Try one fewer week
Two return trips each week for four weeks add up to 16 rides. Miss one week and you take only 12: singles cost €21.60. Use your actual fare and count only journeys covered by the pass within its validity period.
