Small everyday expenses: how much do they add up to?
Coffee, subscriptions and small purchases can have a meaningful annual cost.

Small amounts accumulate
A €2 coffee five days a week is approximately €520 over 52 weeks. You do not have to give it up; the aim is to choose consciously.
Do a seven-day audit
Record every purchase under €10, including card payments. Group them into eating out, transport, entertainment and subscriptions.
Find invisible expenses
Review automatic charges and rarely used services. A €9 monthly subscription is €108 a year.
Choose what to keep
Do not make saving a punishment. Keep purchases you enjoy and reduce those made out of habit.
Redirect the saving
Freeing up €25 a month gives €300 a year before returns. Record progress in a template.
