How to convert images to JPG, PNG or WebP

Choosing a suitable format improves compatibility and may reduce file size.

Choose a format

JPG is often suitable for photographs and does not preserve transparency. PNG supports transparency and is useful for graphics and screenshots. WebP can produce small files and supports transparency, but check that the destination accepts it.

Try reducing image dimensions before lowering quality too far. Review the downloaded image visually.
